The simple things we have are the things of truest beauty.

Domestic Newsflash

Today was a Sunday to shame all Sundays! The pastoral beauty of golden sunlight warming leafy branches and young corn fields, with a broad blue sky smiling over Kentucky countryside, was enough to make every lost and found sheep long for the Shepherd’s Home.
There is nothing like rediscovering a love when every circumstance in life obstructs you from focusing on it. The necessary film crew took the crew boat to film on the crowd-floating lake. I am not at all a necessary film crew member. Therefore I had a whole Sun-day to myself. I felt like wrapping up the day in my napkin and putting it in my pocket to enjoy secretly. In reality, the kitchen demanded  many hours of my service. But I don’t mind the kitchen- I rather like it.
In the later hours of this lovely day, my eyes captured pictures of the world like chapters in a book I wanted to write, and an inexpressible desire arrested me to express myself through my fingertips. So I had to write a blog post because I cannot begin any new stories this month.
Filmmaker Friends forgive me- but film-making is not my precious cup of caliente tea.
Every vibrant-colored thread in the loom of my imagination is waiting in the frame for me to weave a patterned cloth of characters and storyline. But enough of this. It must wait!
I want to say a big thanks to everyone for your prayers about this movie project. We have encountered many problems and strains, but God has provided every solution and release. To God be all glory from this project!  Some of our actors are already wrapped, and more helpers and families are coming this week. While emptying camera cards in the studio, we previewed a few shots of the day and laughed hilariously at the comedy. Hopefully, the message will not only be meaningful, but pleasant to take. Thanks again for the prayers!
